Conagri and its sister company AMIA have announced two strategic new appointments as both businesses experience a significant upturn in demand across the construction and agricultural machinery sectors. The Devon-based firms continue to expand their reach and capabilities by bringing in new talent to bolster both sales and after-sales support.
Jeremy Sawford joins the team as Sales Account Manager, responsible for overseeing sales activity in Cornwall on behalf of both Conagri and AMIA. With over 25 years of agricultural expertise, Jeremy brings a wealth of experience from his previous role at a local John Deere dealership, alongside a background managing his own farm. In his new role, he will represent a broad portfolio that includes Venieri pivot steer loaders, Sunward excavators, Captain Tractors compact tractors, and AMIA’s extensive agricultural machinery ranges such as GL&D woodchippers, Sfoggia transplanters, and Valentini power harrows and stone crushers.
Expressing enthusiasm for the new role, Jeremy said, “I am excited by the new challenge of joining up-and-coming companies with extensive ranges of machinery in agriculture, forestry, construction and industrial.”
To further reinforce customer support and technical service across the South West and beyond, the companies have also appointed Tom Brice as Service and Product Specialist. Tom will cover Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Dorset and Wiltshire, while also providing national support where required. His primary responsibilities include service and warranty for Sunward excavators across Conagri’s dealership network, in addition to support for other key brands distributed by both companies.
With a strong background in engineering and product development, Tom brings experience from both national manufacturing and regional dealership environments, including work with a premium UK agricultural machinery brand. He will also undertake repairs on third-party machinery in the Devon area, further enhancing Conagri and AMIA’s ability to deliver responsive, expert support.
Tom commented, “I’m looking forward to helping the companies grow with servicing and ongoing backup support for the great ranges of products we have chosen to specialise in.”
As Conagri continues to expand its construction machinery offering and AMIA further strengthens its position as a national agricultural distributor, the addition of Jeremy and Tom marks a significant step forward in the companies’ shared commitment to quality, customer service, and sector leadership.
