Conagri will hold the latest in its series of open days for the regional farming community on Friday and Saturday, April 10 th and 11 th.

This particular open day at Conagri’s base on Burston Lane, Crediton, will focus on the latest agricultural brand to join the Conagri family – the McCormick range of tractors.

“Arrive and drive” will be held of Conagri’s current McCormick line-up to give farmers the chance to see the McCormick range in action and experience first-hand the features and performance that can help improve efficiency and profitability on local farms.

The particular McCormick tractors available to try over the two days will be the mid- range X6.4 (135hp) and two utility models – the X5.085 and larger X5.120.

The 135hp X6.4 features McCormick’s new X6.4 P6 Drive Stage V range, designed and built for those looking to find versatility, performance and comfort in a single tractor. It is proving an irreplaceable companion for open field and multi-utility operations, hay harvesting, and operations that require a loader.

The X5.085 blends power and technology with versatility and ease of handling to deliver a concrete response to all user demands in farms and especially the hay business. Its outstanding features and performance make it the perfect tractor for agile transport, front loader barn and shed work, and light-duty open field work.

The X5.120 weighs 4.65 tonnes and is powered by a 84kW engine capable of speeds of 40 km/h. With a transport height of 2.623m, it is equipped with a cabin as special equipment.

Conagri’s other agricultural brands will be available for viewing on request. Held between 8am and 2pm on Friday 10 th (when there will be a complementary vehicle wash) and 9am and 2pm on Saturday 11 th , the open days will also feature hot food and drinks served throughout the day from Conagri’s new events space, The Tractor Shed.
