The HG Legacy
Hedensted Gruppen (HG) was founded in 1971 and has been producing their iconic ‘Super Skub’ dumpers for over five decades. Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, HG has evolved from a traditional machinery manufacturer into a pioneer of electric construction equipment.
The company’s commitment to innovation led them to launch their first 100% electric 1-tonne dumpers in 2019, followed by the groundbreaking E2000 2-tonne electric dumper in 2023. Today, HG is recognised as a leader in electric construction machinery, offering dumpers that can run for more than 12 hours on a single charge, something no other manufacturer has achieved.
All HG machines are designed and built by hand at their headquarters in Hedensted, Denmark, with additional production facilities in Polen since 2008Â on our own factory. The company keeps its research and development and software programming in-house, ensuring the highest quality and continuous innovation.
