Founded in 2003 in Montebello Vicentino, in the Veneto region of northern Italy, Energy Gruppi Elettrogeni has built over two decades of specialist expertise in the design and manufacture of generator sets for demanding applications. Agriculture is one of the company’s core markets, and Energy has developed two dedicated solutions to address the full range of farm power requirements: the Agripower PTO range for portable tractor-driven generation, and the Industrial range for fixed prime and standby power installations.
The Agripower range is powered directly from the tractor’s power take-off via a driveshaft, eliminating the need for a separate engine and allowing any farm with a tractor to generate electricity wherever it is needed — in remote fields, barns, paddocks, or outbuildings with no mains supply. Available at both 3,000 rpm for emergency applications and 1,500 rpm for continuous sustained use, the Agripower models cover output from 10 kVA through to over 160 kVA.

AVR Voltage Regulation
All Agripower models are fitted with an electronic automatic voltage regulator (AVR) as standard, ensuring a stable, consistent output voltage that is safe for sensitive farm equipment including computers, electronic milking systems, and automated feeding machinery.

Grain Drying
A farm running soybean and corn drying operations required a generator capable of sustaining 24-hour operation throughout the entire drying campaign. Energy supplied an Industrial EY-100P-SA, specified with a three-way valve for connection to an external fuel tank, allowing the generator to run continuously around the clock without refuelling interruptions.
