The Euro Bagging Story
The origins of Euro Bagging date back to 1996 when founder Petr Jurek, working as an agronomist for a large Czech dairy producer, travelled to Canada to explore an innovative method of storing bulky feed in bags. Impressed by the exceptional quality of stored feed achieved through this system, he brought the technology back to Europe.
After purchasing drawing documentation from Canadian manufacturer AMITY and importing the first six machines, local production began in 1997. The company Euro Bagging, s.r.o. was officially established in 1998, initially focusing on the Czech and Slovak markets before expanding across Europe to countries including Ukraine, Hungary, Croatia, Russia, and Germany.
In 2004, the company launched its own innovative machines under the Euro Bagging brand and expanded its portfolio to include mobile grain crimpers and composting machines. Today, the company is experiencing a generational change, with founder Petr Jurek’s sons, Lukáš and Roman, taking over the machine production and silage bag divisions respectively.
