The UNIA Legacy
UNIA’s history began in GrudziÄ…dz, Poland, where in 1882 engineer August Ventzki created the first cultivator, laying the foundations for innovation that continues to this day. The company started with production of tillage machines including reversible two-body ploughs, and in 1898, the Ventzki cultivator was patented and sold in hundreds of thousands of units worldwide.
Today, UNIA is the largest manufacturer of agricultural machinery in Poland, producing around 25,000 machines annually across four modern production plants in Grudziądz, Brzeg, Słupsk, and Kąty Wrocławskie. With over 700 products in their portfolio, UNIA machines are exported to more than 60 countries on every continent.
The company invests heavily in modern technologies including CNC machining, laser cutting, welding robots, and advanced design software, allowing them to produce 75 percent of components in-house. This vertical integration ensures exceptional quality control and reliability.
