The Šálek Legacy
Tractors from Prostějov have been a tradition not only in the Czech Republic but across Europe for over 70 years, since the first tractor left the factory gates in 1955. The Šálek company, settled in the Haná region, continues this proud heritage of Czech engineering excellence.
The company has been operating on the Czech market since 1990, initially focusing on overhauls and spare parts. In 1997, serial production of the MT8-132.2 tractors began, with 60 units produced in the first year. Today, Šálek exports to European countries, Africa, South America, and Asia, demonstrating the global appeal of their reliable machines.
In 2003, Šálek entered the ISO 9001 controlled quality regime, cementing their commitment to manufacturing excellence. Their main philosophy remains constant: permanent technological innovation combined with top quality, delivering tractors that meet the demanding needs of modern agriculture and municipal services.
