The Hako Legacy
The Hako story began in the 1920s when founder Hans Koch invented the world’s first small motor hoe, the DiMoHa (Die Motorisierte Hand – The Motorised Hand). This pioneering spirit led to the official founding of Hako in Bad Oldesloe, Germany on 24 December 1948, with the company name derived from Hans Koch & Sohn.
Today, the Hako Group is an internationally leading manufacturer of cleaning, municipal, and waterjet technology products. As an independent division embedded in the Possehl Group, Hako develops, produces, and supplies innovative cleaning machines as well as multifunctional load and implement carriers from production facilities in Germany, Poland, and the United States.
