The Hoppecke Legacy
Founded in 1927 in Brilon, Germany, Hoppecke has grown from a small battery manufacturer into Europe’s largest privately-owned industrial battery company. Now in its fourth generation, the company remains committed to the innovative spirit of founder Carl Zoellner.
Hoppecke operates 12 production facilities worldwide with over 2,000 employees serving more than 10,000 customers in 150 countries. Their UK operations based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire provide local assembly, large stockholding, and rapid delivery across the country.
