The Captain TractorsLegacy
Captain Tractors was founded in 1994 in Rajkot, Gujarat, India, by visionary farmer brothers G.T. Patel and M.T. Patel. Their dream was to design and build compact, affordable, and low-maintenance tractors suited for small and marginal farms. In 1998, they launched India’s first 100 percent indigenised mini tractor, revolutionising agricultural mechanisation for smallholders.
From humble beginnings, Captain Tractors has grown into a global manufacturer, exporting to over 70 countries including Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Canada, and Austria. The company has received European homologation certification and holds approvals from numerous international markets, demonstrating their commitment to meeting the highest quality and emissions standards.
Today, Captain Tractors offers over 40 tractor variants and more than 100 implements, all designed and manufactured at their facility in Rajkot.
